Our six-month program equips, empowers, and supports leaders with the skills they need to be successful people managers.
Whether it’s recruiting, developing others, holding difficult conversations well, combatting quiet quitting, or any other people manager responsibilities, seasoned professionals in leadership roles often lack the training, skills, and tools to successfully manage people. And newly promoted supervisors are frequently unprepared for the demands of their new role as a people manager.
ELEVATE is specifically designed to increase both seasoned and newly promoted managers’ competence, confidence, and success in this critical role - regardless of the number of people supervised, onsite, or remote.
If so, our ELEVATE program might be right for you.
Who is it for?
Individuals of all experience levels who want to learn, grow, and develop in their role as a people manager, and the HR professionals who support people managers at all levels.
How does it work?
ELEVATE follows the people manager’s specific role through the lifecycle of employment, over six monthly three-hour sessions. People managers learn new skills for their role and HR professionals learn along with them so they can effectively coach and support.
What does it include?
ELEVATE includes live on-line sessions, all reference materials, tools, and templates via our LMS, and unlimited one-on-one application coaching throughout the program. The supportive peer-learning environment consists of small cohorts of people managers and HR professionals from multiple organizations (ELEVATE is also available for single organizations).
Participants receive a certificate of completion.

ELEVATE’d Knowledge - Each cohort is paired with a subject matter expert, with many years’ experience coaching team leads and people managers, who facilitates each session and provides one-on-one coaching.
ELEVATE’d Value - ELEVATE was purposely and thoughtfully built to fit the budget of small and medium-sized businesses.
We are here to help supervisors, managers, and leaders learn, grow, and improve in their specific role as people managers.
Our facilitators are knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, and provide a high level of interaction to give participants new knowledge, skills, confidence, and a safe place to practice. Our facilitators further support participants by providing one-on-one coaching, outside the monthly sessions, during the entire program.
Sessions focus specifically on the people manager’s role in the lifecycle of employment:
Recruiting and Selection (the right fit for individuals, teams, and organizations is key)
Onboarding (it should be the start of a great relationship, not just paperwork)
Growing and Developing Others (growth opportunities are key to employee retention)
Setting and Leveraging Goals (for continuous performance development and support)
Providing Feedback, Coaching, and Counseling (learn what to use when and how)
Holding Difficult Conversations Well (a critical skill for work and relationships)
Participants learn new approaches, receive new tools and templates, and develop skills around these critical people manager must-haves. They can immediately apply what they learn at work or test drive their approach and skills with our team as needed to feel competent and confident.
Flexibility is a part of our culture:
We understand that implementing newly acquired skills and tools back on the job can be more uncomfortable and stressful than in a peer learning environment. For this reason, each participant has access to unlimited one-on-one coaching on ELEVATE topics throughout their entire six months in the program. If a participant, after attending two consecutive sessions, is not completely satisfied or is no longer with the organization, we will extend the content to another participant from the same organization for the remaining sessions and coaching.
We encourage multiple participants from the same organization, including internal HR, and provide discounts for groups of 2 or more. We can also work directly with internal HR teams, as appropriate.
